#3 - Opening Orientation

It is very important that you make sure that you look at which direction the wind blows towards where you are intending to construct your shed. Then, using your hay barn plans, make sure that the entrance to it is located on the side opposite to where the wind will be strongest. Not only will this ensure that the items within the barn are taken care of, it is going to reduce the amount of wind loads placed upon it.
